Xiaomi Mi 10T News, Specs, and Features

Xiaomi has recently announced the new series Mi 10T which has three new phones. These phones are Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, and Mi 10T Lite. We have already written a post about the price and availability of these phones.

Today in this article, we will discuss the specs and features of the new phones. Let’s start.

Xiaomi Mi 10T design and display

Most of the Xiaomi phones have screen sizes of 6.67-inch, and there is also the same case with the new series phones. All three phones of the Xiaomi Mi 10T series come with 6.67-inch screen size. The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite has a punch-hole selfie camera at the center of the screen. While the other two variants have selfie cameras at the top left corner of the screen.

All three phones also come with the Full HD+ resolutions. The display of the phones is not curved at the edges like we saw in the Mi 10 handsets. The Mi 10T Lite has a refresh rate of 120Hz. This makes the phone one of the cheapest phones with such a snappy display. While the other two standard phones have a refresh rate of 144Hz. This refresh rate makes the phones the first to have this kind of display.

If we talk about the other general design of the phones then the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite looks a lot like the Poco X3 NFC. It has a rounded camera bump at the center on the back of the phone. While the other two phones have a camera bump at the top-left of the back. Both phones have a huge main lens, that screams that ‘I am a powerful camera’. But we have to test the cameras to see if this is true or not.

As we mentioned above that the phones have no curved-edge display so they look less premium than the Mi 10 devices. The phones also have a fingerprint sensor that is side-mounted. Xiaomi also used the in-screen fingerprint scanner on its previous phones.

None of the phones is expected to come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, not even the Lite version of the series. While each of the phones has a USB-C port. All three phones come with glass fronts and backs.

Camera

If we talk about the camera specs of the phones then the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite has a 64MP main camera at the back. There is also an 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor included. While at the front of the phone there is a selfie camera available of 16MP.

The standard Mi 10T has also the same main sensor, but ultra-wide has a 13MP camera. The phone also has a 5MP macro sensor and at the front, the phone has a high-spec 20MP selfie camera.

If we talk about the cameras of Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro then it has a 108MP main camera. But for the other cameras, the phone has the same specs as the other two phones. The users of the Mi 10T Pro might find the lack of a telephoto camera.

With the better chipset of the phones, the two non-Lite phones can record video up to a resolution of 8K. While these two phones have also some other intriguing modes which include AI SkyScaping and Dual Video. The Dual video mode will allow you to record video from the front and the back cameras at the same time.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Specs and features

The best thing is that all three phones of the Xiaomi Mi 10T series come with the support of 5G. It is suggesting that Xiaomi is going on the next-gen connectivity.

If we talk about the chipsets of the phones then the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 1oT Pro come with the Snapdragon 865. This chipset was the top-end in early 2020 but now it is slightly outdated due to 865 Plus. While the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite has a chipset of Snapdragon 750G. This chipset is a mid-range chipset but it is good for gaming.

The 10T Lite comes with a 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage. The Mi 10T comes in two variants of 6GB and 8GB RAM and with an internal storage of 128GB. While the Mi 10T Pro has 8GB RAM with a storage of 128GB and 256GB.

Now in terms of battery, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite has a 4,820mAh battery, and Mi 10T Pro and standard 10T have 5,000mAh battery size. All three phones come with the support of 33W fast charging. There is no wireless charging option on any phone.
