After achieving a lot of goals now Mark Zuckerberg is going to launch the WhatsApp payment service in India. And it’s really profitable for him to start such a service in 400 million users market. With WhatsApp payment service users can easily send money to their friends and family just as easily as sending messages. It might be possible that this service can spill over to neighboring countries as well. WhatsApp gets approval from the country’s regulations as well so the service might be launch soon.
WhatsApp Launches Payment Service for Indian Users
This payment service was also started in India as a beta in 2018, but due to some reason, it was postponed. And now it will soon launch in India, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) granted its approval to WhatsApp. WhatsApp payment service in India will rock because of the huge Indian market. Also, WhatsApp is a more reliable and famous platform so that why a lot of people use this platform to send their payments.
Soon the Facebook will also share its posts on its official blog about the launch of this service. The Facebook Cheif also recommended that digital payments were “especially important” amid a global pandemic, as they exclude the need for the in-person exchange of cash.
Mark Zuckerberg also said in a press “Now you are going to able to easily send money to your friends and family through WhatsApp just as easily as sending a message.”
WhatsApp payment service in India will be operated with five leading banks including ICICI Banks, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, the State Bank of India, and Jio Payments Bank. We also hope that soon this service will be available in other neighboring countries as well.
